Back in September 2002 Tony Blair issued a challenge to world leader to reduce greenhouse emissions and is still urging leaders to do the same today. Just recently he said that the UK is taking steps to reduce it's green house gas emissions and Blair is trying to set an example for the world leaders to follow.
The Kyoto pact, signed in Japan in 1997, requires industrialized countries to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by 8% of the 1990 levels between 2008 and 2012.
The US, the world's biggest polluter opted out of the pact , arguing that its economic interests would be threatened.
Isn't it a pity the Blair is so concerned about Global Warming yet he is happy to continue his war mongering on Iraq causing the death hundred of thousands of Iraqis and over 2 million refugees.
Where's the logic in that?
