The USA is going to make another new hydrogen bomb. It looks like Bush is set on destroying the world.

Bush isn't happy enough with all the nuclear bombs he already has and the project is expected to cost billions of dollars.

Frankly, I'm glad.

I'm not so sure about that. North Korea has abandoned it's nuclear ambitions and it will be a long time before Iran can develop anything substantial. Australia, or I should say , the PM wants the bomb too. Are you guys seriously that out of touch? The US (not Bush) is developing new weaponry all the time. Why aren't you complaining about the latest upgrades to the M1A1 Abrams? We continually upgrade our systems to keep ourselves up-to-date. It's a survival mechanism. All countries do it. We're not building new nukes, we're replacing old ones.

I ,for one,feel that Russia and China would follow suit,which would force EU(France,Britain etc) to copy,which in turn may force India,leaving the way clear for Pakistan ,with the excuse that India has....
It will be a chain reaction,which cannot be entirely ruled out.
And in cases like nukes,one goes by the "worst case scenario".........
