| It's been a while since I've done any paintings and lately I've been inspired by certain people to do a painting on Global Warming. The painting is called 'Global Warming' and I have put it on Gallery One on 'My Art Gallery'. Click on the thumbnail and it will take you to the painting in my Gallery. Global Warming . | |

| Albert, have you ever written small tutorials about how to do paintings like this? you know, step by step? I'd be really interested to see how you go about doing a painting. I've written a lot of tutorials on how to use PhotoImpact and it's fun writing them, let alone using them. | |

| rar, I always want to do this painting since I became aware of global warming. I had no idea how I'd do it or what subject matter I would include. Then out of the blue, on Saturday I was lying in bed and the subject matter came to me. All of it like a clear picture in my mind. I don't think this has happened before. I constructed the painting all in my mind then set about doing it. I divided the painting in two......the upper and the lower. Naturally I used Photoshop and for the upper part I used the Gradient tool and selected yellow and red.....and using the radial gradient option , made the sky and sun. For the bottom I selected linear gradient with 2 shades of yellow.,,,,,,,,,that took care of the background. The rest I used the brush too and drew everything by hand , ie;..."mouse'. except for the American flag which I cut and pasted and distorted a bit to look ragged and torn. To highlight shadows and sun light , I used the burn and dodge tool. I didn't use any fancy tools that a beginner would not know how to use. Some of my other paintings on my Art Gallery are so complex to do that even I don't remember how I did them. anyhow , I joined Deaviant Art today from a suggestion from a member from a Photoshop Forum I'm on, and while I was there I saw this bit of art. . | |

| rar.......gald to are going to give it a go. I'm Sellaman on DeviantArt and Sellaman on Artabus. It's a French site , and so is my forum. Polly is given to me by a French Company. I'm also Sellaman on Artabus. I'll check out your stuff on DeviantArt but I've probably seen all your art from your web site which I have bookmarked. Anyhow getting back on topic this is what Howard thinks of global warming.......you can see it on the expression of his face. Pretty horrible ,,isn't it! . | |

| rar, I got it from an Australian site called Xenoxnews. It's a very crude site but most of the members are very cluey and very funny. I can usually find information on Australian politics there that I can't find any where else. | |
